Magani’s pharmacists are responsible for verifying the validity of prescriptions and ensuring that the medicines ordered match the details of the uploaded prescription (including dosing, dosage form, and quantities). Additionally, the pharmacist will review the patient questionnaire to check for any contraindications related to your physiological status or other medications you are currently taking. Lastly, the pharmacist will be available to answer any questions you may have regarding your treatment.

Why is there a temperature indicator in the parcel received?

The medicine might be exposed to certain temperatures during shipment, which could affect its efficacy. However, we want to draw your attention to the fact that a temperature indicator turning black does not necessarily mean that the medicine cannot be taken. If you see such an indicator, we invite you to contact one of our pharmacists on the contact page. They will assess the situation and inform you whether the medication is still safe to use on a case-by-case basis.

How to proceed if the temperature indicator turns black?

If the temperature indicator turns black, please contact one of our pharmacists immediately for guidance on whether your medication remains safe for use. We ask the recipients to check and report any temperature indicator changes within two hours of receiving their parcel. The primary objective is to ensure proper temperature control during the DHL shipment. Please note that the storage of medicines at the patient’s location is beyond the scope of Magani.org.

Yes, any quality issue - including, but not limited to, packaging errors, broken tablets, tablet color discrepancies, or vial volume issues - can be reported on Magani.org. The pharmacist will review your submission to ensure that all required information in the quality complaint form is duly completed. If any information is missing, the pharmacist will contact you.

Is there a batch recall system in place on Magani.org?

Yes, every order has a unique order number that allows us to identify the patient who received the medications. The medicine vendor is required to inform us immediately if there is a batch recall from the manufacturer. We will in turn immediately notify the patients.
