What do the different order statuses mean?
Depending on the medication ordered by the patient, the workflow is different.
If the order contains only Outpatient medication, the flow requires that the patient fill out the patient question and
upload the prescription and his address before submitting his order to the Magani’s pharmacist.
If the order contains at least one hospital medication, an extra step is required. The prescriber will be contacted by
Magani’s pharmacist to fill out a medical questionnaire.
Detail of the order status:
Completed: Orders in this status need to be verified by the pharmacist. This status informs the pharmacist that the
medications, prescription, and patient questionnaire have been completed. Additionally, for hospital medication, it
confirms that the doctor has filled out the medical form.
On hold: An intermediate status where the pharmacist seeks clarification from the patient or the prescriber. The
dedicated section 'Comments for Patient/Doctor' can be used for this communication. An email will be sent to the patient
or doctor to inform them that the order has been put on hold.
Canceled: Once an order is set to this status, it means that the patient or doctor has been contacted, and the order
needs to be replaced.
Prepared: After the pharmacist validates the order (verification of the prescription, patient questionnaire, posology,
dosage, etc.), they will select this status, which will trigger an email inviting the patient to proceed with the
payment.
Paid: This order status does not need to be selected by the pharmacist; it will be updated automatically once the
patient has completed the payment.
Preparation: After payment, this order status means that the order has been sent to the medicine vendor, and that he
starts the preparation of the order.
Shipped: Once the parcels are forwarded to DHL, the orders must be manually updated by the pharmacist, changing their
status to 'Shipped'. An email is sent to the patients to inform them.
Statuses reserved for Hospital order:
Created : Order status that indicates the pharmacist must identify the prescriber.
There are two options:
- The prescriber is already registered on the platform – The pharmacist selects them from the drop-down list and
changes the status to "Assigned." An email is sent to the prescriber to inform them that an order requires
additional information regarding the prescribed medications.
- The prescriber is not registered on the platform – The pharmacist must create a prescriber account. An email is sent
to the doctor to complete their account before the pharmacist can validate it and assign the order
Assigned: This status indicates that the order has been sent to the prescriber and that the medical form needs to be
filled out.
Draft: This status indicates that the prescriber has started filling out the medical form but has not yet completed it.
Additionally, this status can be used to resend the medical form to the prescriber for corrections.
